ORDINANCE NO. 23 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, <br />REQUIRING REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF RESIDENTIAL <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS APPROVED BY THE COUNTY PRIOR <br />TO JULY 2, 1983 AND DECLARING THE ORDINANCE TO BE <br />AN URGENCY ORDINANCE <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Notwithstanding any othe r provision of <br />the ordinances of the City of Moorpark, no building permit <br />shall hereafter be issued for any Residential Planned Develop- <br />ment approved by the County of Ventura prior to July 2, 1983 <br />unless said Residential Planned Development has been considered <br />by the City Council at a public hearing upon ten (10) days <br />posted notice and approved, or modified and approved, by the <br />City Council by resolution. Notice of the public hearing <br />shall be posted for ten (10) days in three (3) public places. <br />No other notice shall be required. <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall be operative for <br />a period of one (1) year commencing July 6, 1984 and ending <br />July 5, 1985. <br />Section 3. This ordinance, being an urgency ordinance, <br />shall become effective upon adoption. The reasons for the urgency <br />are that the County of Ventura has approved a large number of <br />Residential Planned Developments which had not previously been <br />reviewed or approved by the City of Moorpark. The City Council <br />has now reviewed most of the County Residential Planned Develop- <br />ment approvals and determined that said permits should be <br />approved subject in some cases to certain modifications. The <br />Council wishes to be assured that the conditions imposed by <br />the City Council of Moorpark will be complied with. <br />Section 4. This ordinance is a continuation of <br />Ordinance No. 4 entitled " An Ordinance of the City of Moorpark, <br />California, Requiring Review and Approval of Residential <br />Planned Developments Approved by the County Prior to July 2, <br />1983; Declaring the Ordinance to be an Urgency Ordinance; and <br />Setting a Public Hearing for August 3, 1983," adopted July 6, <br />1983 and Ordinance No. 5, entitled "An Ordinance of the City <br />of Moorpark, California, Extending the Period for Review and <br />Approval of Residential Planned Developments Approved by the <br />County of Ventura Prior to July 2, 1983," adopted August 3, <br />1983. <br />
