A vicinity map is attached for your reference (see Exhibit A). Site development included grading and installation of storm drainage devices. DISCUSSION Construction and installation of all grading and drainage devices have been completed in accordance with the approved plans and conditions of development. Project condition number 119 required additional security to repair the street, of any damage resulting from construction work or utility trenching. The street was inspected and found to be in satisfactory condition at this time. Cashier's checks for grading and drainage and street improvements are also currently being held by the City. The developer is requesting the release of these securities at this time. All conditions for the reduction of the securities have been completed. It is therefore appropriate to exonerate and /or reduce the securities as outlined in the following table: 000 Type Cashier's Cashier's Recommended Check Number Check Action Amount Street Reconstruction Surety L.A. The developer will be required to either provide a cashier's check or another type of surety in the reduced amount shown in the above table. STAFF RECONauR;NDATION: 1. Authorize the City Clerk to reduce the street improvement bond to 10% for a one year maintenance period and then exonerate the bond, subject to the Engineering Department's final approval at that time. 00075?
