A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE TIERRA
REJADA ROAD TREE IRRIGATION AND LANDSCAPE
MEDIAN RENOVATION PROJECT (P&R 2017-3R) AS
COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
FILE THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION WITH THE
VENTURA COUNTY RECORDER
WHEREAS, on December 6, 2017 the City Council awarded an Agreement to
Mariposa Landscapes, Inc. for the Tierra Rejada Road Tree Irrigation and Landscape
Median Renovation Project (P&R 2017-3R); and
WHEREAS, the Project consisted of construction services related to landscaping
and irrigation improvements on Tierra Rejada Road; and
WHEREAS, Mariposa Landscapes, Inc. has completed the work in accordance
with the terms and conditions of the contract documents for the Project; and
WHEREAS, if no liens or claims have been filed within thirty-five (35) days of
filing the Notice of Completion, the retained payment funds and any remaining amounts
due will be released to Mariposa Landscapes, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Project is accepted as complete.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is authorized to file the Notice of Completion for the
Project with the Ventura County Recorder as shown in Exhibit A.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and
shall cause a certified resolution to be filed in the book of original resolutions.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of December, 2018.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION
Notice pursuant to Civil Code Section 9204 must be filed on or within 15 days after the date of completion of a work of
improvement. Civil Code Section 9200 provides that completion of a work of improvement occurs at the earliest of
(a)acceptance of the work of improvement by the public entity or(b) cessation of labor on the work of improvement for a
continuous period of 60 days.
