At the conclusion of the construction work, the total cost
of the construction contract awarded to Stanhope Company,
including the aforementioned Change Orders is $368,441.61.

payment due 35 days after the recordation and fulfillment
of all contractual obligations as determined by the City.
Additionally, the City Manager will be authorized to
release the project bonds after one year and in accordance
with the contract provisions.
In addition to construction, the Senior Center Expansion
project entailed design and construction plans, plan check
and building inspection, soils tests, project management,
and CDBG management and monitoring. The total estimated
final project cost, including all outstanding items and the
previously identified Change Orders, is approximately
$495,000, which is $25,000 under budget. Unrelated to
Stanhope's contract, staff is still completing the

replacement of the drinking fountain in the Senior Center.
The Council will be provided with a final cost report when
all outstanding work has been completed.
