Approve Goals and Objectives for FY 2000/2001
DISCUSSION:
On July 5, 2000, the City Council considered the proposed Goals
and Objectives for Fiscal Year 2000/2001. The City Council
tentatively approved the document subject to certain changes with
the document to be placed on the "Consent Calendar" for formal
approval. The directed changes are as follows:
• Added A.7.
• Modified B.8. to reflect that the fire station on High
Street will be constructed.
• Added C.3.h) to address short -term improvements to SR 118
west of Moorpark City limits.
0 Added C.14. to have the City monitor Caltrans' efforts to
develop a plan to improve SR 118 west of Moorpark City
limits.
• E.l. was put back in as an objective and modified to
reference MUSD and Boys and Girls Club participation.
• F.20. deleted.
The attached document is shown in legislative format. After
approval by the City Council, the legislative formatting will be
removed.

DEPARTMENTAL GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR FY 1999/2000
A. Expand and encourage community involvement in establishing
the general policies of the City and increase the public's
understanding of local government operations.

outline how to prepare for, and what to do following a
