DAT F t October 9, 1986
SUBJECT' = Request for Use of Facilities by Boys and Girls Club
In an attempt to begin offering programs to the Community, the Boys and
Girls Club has requested use of the Community Center, Room A, on Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday from 2-5 p.m. They would like to begin using the
building October 21, 1986 and continue through December 31, 1986.
Included in the request is a waiver of all fees.
Based on current charges, if the Boys and Girls Club were charged normal
fees the amount would be $25.00 per day or $75.00 per week. This breaks
down to $18.00 per day rental and $7.00 per day for staff maintenance.
Additionally a $50.00 cleaning and security deposit is required.
In conferring with the Facilities Coordinator, it was indicated that
no monies are currently available in the budget for the staff maintenance
time. It is therefore recommended that staff maintenance charges and
the $50.00 cleaning/security deposit be waived for this requested use.
Additionally, it is anticipated that the Parks & Recreation Department
will be offering a Christmas Holiday Day Camp and holiday programs
from December 22 through January 2, 1987. Requested Use after December
18, 1986 would be in conflict with these programs.

In addition, I wish to re-emphasize that our wall treatment along
Tierra Rejada is comprised of a 6 ' high slumpstone wall with a
brick cap and brick pilasters . This wall will be located on the
north side of Tierra Rejada Road. On the south side, where the
up-slope condition exists , the wall treatment will be a 2 ' high
slumpstone wall with brick cap , 4 ' high iron fencing and brick
pilasters. All slumpstone shall be tan in color.
This design approach was developed in order to blend with both
projects that are located to the east and west of Warmington Home' s
tracts 3019/3525 .
If I can be of any further assistance, please contact me.
