D. of Iq .� °gym inr�e on t MOORPARK CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT BY' TO: The Honorable City Council FROM: Steven Kueny, City Manager DATE: August 30, 2001 (CC Meeting of September 5, 2001) SUBJECT: Proposed Priorities, Goals and Objectives for Fiscal Year 2001/2002 DISCUSSION: At the August 1, 2001 meeting, the City Council by consensus approved the 2001/2002 Goals and Objectives subject to final approval on September 5, 2001. The focus of the August 1 discussion was on the proposed top ten (10) City priorities. The attached document incorporates changes to the third (3rd) and ninth (9th) items to reflect the August 1 consensus. The changes to the top ten (10) priorities (from the City Manager's June 14, 2001 memorandum) are shown in legislative format and are incorporated into the proposed "Mission Statement, Priorities, Goals, and Objectives for FY 2001/2002." The changes to the Goals and Objectives for FY 2001/2002 were previously presented to the City Council in legislative format and are presented again in this same format. After formal approval by the Council, a copy without the legislative format will be provided to you. A status report on this subject will be presented to the City Council in January 2002. At the same time, the Council can initiate consideration of priorities for FY 2002/2003. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Fiscal Year 2001/2002 Miss -ion Statement, Priorities, Goals and Objectives.
