The monitors are 14 ", and are either completely non - functioning or the resolution is inadequate for use. The printers, scanner and optical drives are non - functioning. All this equipment was used for several years and would not be worth city funds to repair. Additionally, this equipment would not be sell -able in its current condition. Staff recommends that the City Council declare the computer equipment listed in the attached resolution surplus. Staff will dispose of the equipment in an appropriate manner. STAFF RECOMMENDATION (Roll Call Vote Required) Staff recommends that the City Council adopt resolution 2001 - declaring computer equipment surplus. Attachment: Resolution 2001- C c,4 RESOLUTION 2001- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING CERTAIN ASSETS TO BE SURPLUS WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to declare certain city assets to be surplus when they have ceased to be useful for city operations; and WHEREAS, the City Council now wishes to declare certain assets to be surplus in order that the items may be disposed of in any lawful manner. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1.
