These old computers have been stored in a shed at City Hall pending disposal and must be surplused. This equipment was used for several years and would not be worth city funds to repair. Additionally, this equipment would not be marketable in its current condition. Staff recommends that the City Council declare the computer equipment listed in the attached resolution surplus. Staff will dispose of the equipment in an appropriate manner. STAFF RECOMMENDATION (Roll Call Vote Required) Adopt Resolution No. 2002 - surplus. Attachment: Resolution No. 2002- declaring computer equipment RESOLUTION NO. 2002- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING CERTAIN ASSETS TO BE SURPLUS WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to declare certain city assets to be surplus when they have ceased to be useful for city operations; and WHEREAS, the City Council now wishes to declare certain assets to be surplus in order that the items may be disposed of in any lawful manner. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Manager shall have the authority to dispose of assets in any lawful manner. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause a certified resolution to be filed in the book of original resolutions.
