MOORPARK CITY COUNC I IBY:
AGENDA REPORT
TO: The Honorable City Council 1(4—
FROM: Kenneth C. Gilbert, Director of Public Works C/`
DATE: December 3, 2004 (Council Meeting 12- 15 -04)
SUBJECT: Consider Resolution No. 2004- Establishing
a "No Stopping Anytime" Zone on Both Sides of
Los Angeles Avenue East of Collins Drive
DISCUSSION
It has been the policy of the City to prohibit parking on arterial
and major collector streets throughout the City, in order to
improve traffic safety and roadway aesthetics, and to prevent the
storage of vehicles on a public street. It is the view of staff
that parking restrictions should be established on the subject
street segment. The adoption of the attached Resolution will
establish a NO STOPPING ANYTIME parking restriction on both sides
of Los Angeles Avenue between Collins Drive and the easterly City
Limit.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution No. 2004-
