Vacca, Principal Pla n DATE: November 29, 2005 (CC Meeting of 12/21/05) SUBJECT: Consider the Approval of Street Names for Tract No. 5130 (SunCal Companies), Located East of Walnut Canyon Road and North of Wicks Road BACKGROUND The City's standard practice for street naming is for the developer to propose at least three (3) street names for each street and submit those street names to the Community Development Director and City Manager for review. Once this review has been completed, the street names are forwarded to the Ventura County Fire Protection District for its review. Upon completion of the review process, the street names are then submitted to the City Council for approval in accordance with Resolution No. 2004 -2160, Section 1, Policy 1 - Street Naming. DISCUSSION The proposed street names for Tract No. 5130 have been reviewed by city staff and the Ventura County Fire Protection District, and have been found acceptable and in conformance with Council's resolution. The list of street names is shown in the following table.
