As you may know, all of the proceeds from the event go to support Moorpark educational and charitable programs. Last year the Council was kind enough to let the Club advertise the event on the City's marquee signs and loan the Club the use of the City's lights for our nighttime battle event. Those of you who were able to attend know that the lighting made this nighttime battle a spectacular time. The event was attended by over 6,500 people and over 600 re- enactors. It is that time of the year again and the Club would like the City's support in this worthwhile event through the loan of the City lights on November 5 and 6. We greatly appreciate the City's continued support of Rotary and this event." Thank you for your support in this regard. Lyle Pennington President Rotary Club of Moorpark 8/18/2005 000267
