AGENDA REPORT
BY:
The Honorable City Council
Kenneth C. Gilbert, Interim Public Works Director
November 8, 2005 (Council Meeting 11- 16 -05)
Resolution Establishing No Stopping Anytime
Parking Restrictions on Virginia Colony Place
A. Curbside Parkinq on Virginia Colonv Place
As you may be aware, curbside parking is not permitted on
Condor Drive. Each of the properties on Condor Drive should
have sufficient on -site parking to accommodate their needs.
It has recently come to the attention of staff that some of the
people who work, or attend the Community High School on Condor
Drive, are parking on Virginia Colony Place.
In the view of staff, the parking of vehicles on portions of
Virginia Colony Drive causes visibility problems and restricts
the flow of traffic on this narrow street.
B. Parking Restriction
It is recommended below that
restrictions be established on
Colony Place depicted on Exhibit
