General Plan Amendment
Pre -Screening Process
All pre-screening applications are reviewed by the Community and
Economic Development Committee (CEDC).The CEDC
recommendation is forwarded to the full Council for consideration.
•If the request is accepted,a GPA entitlement application must
be filed and deemed complete within two years of the pre-
screen approval.
•If the request is rejected,no resubmittal of a similar application
may be made for one year after a denial decision.

request to submit a General Plan Amendment Application as
requested in General Plan Amendment Pre-Screening No.
2019-02.

Recommendation
Staff recommends that the City Council uphold the
Community and Economic Development Committee
recommendation to reject the filing of a General Plan
Amendment application for General Plan Amendment Pre-
Screening No.2019-02.
