HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES CC 2021 3989 2021 0203 RESOLUTION NO. 2021-3989 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A UNIFIED SCHEDULE OF FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted resolutions establishing various fees and service charges, and the City Council currently desires to consolidate all fees and service charges into a single unified Schedule of Fees and Service Charges; and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 88-524 (Establishing a Tree and Landscape Fee); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2002-2004 (Revising Library Facility Fees); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2006-156 (Establishing an Interim Rental Fee Schedule for the Theater on High Street); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2006-2461 (Clarifying the Application of Transportation System Management Fees and Establishing a Minimum Fee Schedule); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2007-2605 (Revising and Reenacting the Schedule of Fees for the Spring Road/Tierra Rejada Road AOC); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2007-2660 (Adopting Revised Fire Protection Facility Fees); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2008-2670 (Adopting a Revised Fee Schedule for Services Rendered Pursuant to the Moorpark Municipal Code Relating to Public Works and City Engineering); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2009-2836 (Establishing Miscellaneous City Fees and Charges) is hereby rescinded upon the effective date of this resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2010-2971 (Adopting a Revised Fee Schedule for Services Rendered Pursuant to the Moorpark Municipal Code Relating to Building and Safety); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2013-3161 (Establishing a Fee Schedule for Use of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2013-3203 (Revising the Business Inspection Fee Schedule, Consistent with Sections 8.52.150, 8.52.160, and 8.52.170 of the Moorpark Municipal Code Relating to Stormwater Quality Management); and Resolution No. 2021-3989 Page 2 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2018-3665 (Adopting a Fee for Replacement of Lost, Stolen, or Otherwise Missing Guest Parking Permits); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2018-3667 (Revising and Reenacting the Schedule of Fees for the Los Angeles Avenue Area of Contribution); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2018-3748 (Establishing a New Bail Schedule for Violations of the Moorpark Municipal Traffic Code Related to Vehicle Parking); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2018-3752 (Updating the City's Permit Application and Review and Processing Fees and Deposits); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2019-3854 (Establishing the Fares for the Moorpark City Transit Bus Fixed Routes, Senior Dial-A-Ride, and Disabled Paratransit Services); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2020-3907 (Establishing Fees and Charges for Services, and Licenses Regarding Title VI, Animal Regulations of the Moorpark Municipal Code); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2020-3955 (Establishing and Approving Police Service Fees, False Alarm Billing Rates, Administrative Fees for Towing of Vehicles); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2020-3957 (Adopting Revised Moorpark City Library Fine and Fee Schedule); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2020-3964 (Adopting Revised Facility Rental Fees, Deposits, and Additional Charges); and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2020-3977 (Adopting Fees for Small Wireless Facility Permits within the City's Right-of-Way); and WHEREAS, the City Council is not changing any fees or service charges at this time. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Schedule of Fees and Service Charges, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby approved. Resolution No. 2021-3989 Page 3 SECTION 2. Nothing in this resolution shall supersede any adjustments to fees or service charges approved by the Director of Disaster Services pursuant to Moorpark Municipal Code Section 2.48.060(C)(1). SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause a certified resolution to be filed in the book of original resolutions.
