Previously-Approved Industrial Development Located at 5850 Condor
Drive Requiring All Utilities to be Placed Underground, to Permit the
Installation of Skylights, and Making a Determination of Exemption
Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act in Connection
Therewith, on the Application of Paul Minoo (4M Investment

Subject:Regarding request to modify conditions of approval for IPD 2019-1

Hello,
I reviewed the staff report for a request to amend the conditions of approval to allow for the
developer to underground only 2 utility lines along the property and I object to the issuance of
the modification. The utility poles along Princeton are unsightly and interfere with the full use
of the sidewalks, and if the City is serious about a future plan for widening Princeton to
provide connection to High Street from the campus park neighborhood, not taking the
opportunity to beautify and create a proper connection with new development is a missed
opportunity. I would recommend that the City Council deny the modified condition and
require a complete undergrounding of the utility poles as approved. Also, I support the
addition of skylights.
