Anne Peters ATTACHMENT 1 From:Douglas Spondello To:Ky Spangler Subject:FW: La Perch Property Date:Wednesday, February 02, 2022 1:43:23 PM From: Mike Johnson <mikej@anides.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 01, 2022 9:02 AM To: Douglas Spondello <DSpondello@MoorparkCA.gov> Subject: La Perch Property As a close neighbor to the property re-zoning in question, I for one do not agree with the proposed density (8 units per acre). Going from "Open Space" to 8 units per acre is a real head scratcher for most folks to digest. I am not a no growth, not-in-my-backyard type of person. I feel an 'Active Senior Living Community" would be more suitable for that location if density is required and property like that is in high demand as the population ages. It would also service the existing residents with a place their parents/grandparents can live that's close to them. I also feel that the title given "Neighborhood Low" is misleading to the public. What is low about it? It should be called "Neighborhood High Density". Thanks for listening... -- Mike Johnson 13711 Elkton Court, Moorpark.
