Provides a snapshot of the
progression of projects included
in the City’s Capital
Improvement Plan.
Opportunity to provide updates
on projects and identify any
challenges or obstacles that
have been encountered and/or
overcome.
Keeps projects in the forefront.

that are active in one form or
another).
Five Year CIP (contains remaining
projects included in the City’s
Five-Year CIP).

Added Project C0070 (City Hall at 323 Science Drive)
Moved 3 Projects to “Active”:
-Project M0024 (AVRC HVAC Replacement)
-Project C0068 (High Street Arts Center Roof Replacement)
-Project C0065 (City Entry Monument Signage)
Removed 2 Projects:
-Project C0050 (Streetlight LED Conversion)
-Project C0026 (Los Angeles Avenue Medians)
Active Projects
16 Active Projects (out of 47).
1 completed project (Downtown Sidewalk Rehabilitation).
5 active construction:
-AVRC HVAC Replacement
-City Entry Monument Signage
-High Street Arts Center Roofing Replacement (pending contract execution)
-Metrolink North Parking Lot Expansion
-Princeton Avenue Improvement
Remaining 10 projects are in some phase of design, or preparing to go out to bid for design/construction, etc.
Princeton Avenue Improvement (C0020)
Construction contract awarded
to Security Paving on February 16,
2022.
Utility relocation is currently in
progress.
Construction expected to begin
June 2022, with completion
estimated for December 2023.
Metrolink North Parking Lot Expansion (C0032)
Construction contract awarded
to F.S. Contractros, Inc. on
October 21, 2021.
Construction began March 7,
2022.
Completion expected in July
2022.
