A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF MOORPARK,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE 2022 VENTURA
COUNTY MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN
AS REQUIRED BY THE FEDERAL DISASTER MITIGATION ACT
OF 2000 AND MAKING A DETERMINATION OF EXEMPTION
PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
ACT IN CONNECTION THEREWITH
WHEREAS, the Federal Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 requires local
governments to identify risks posed by natural and human-caused disasters, and as a
condition of mitigation grant assistance, requires coordinated mitigation planning and
implementation efforts; and

Planning Council to update the Ventura County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan to advance
mitigation planning and projects within the County; and

listed in the Plan, has contributed to this planning update and under the direction of the
