32022 | vcrcd.org/vcwc Townhall & City Discussion Planning Meeting
"To establish a countywide, collaborative approach to design, implement and maintain a holistic, wildfire resiliency strategy that builds
individual, local and regional capacities to better prepare for, prevent, mitigate, respond to, and recover from potential wildfire threats for
Ventura County neighborhoods and communities located in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI), now and into the future."
What is the Ventura County Wildfire Collaborative?
A partnership of agencies in Ventura County whose focus is to build a more wildfire-resilient county.
In this $4 million grant, partners in the VCWC will complete 6 priority projects in the next 2 years as a
foundational stepping stone for a fire-resilient Ventura County.
