DENNIS DELZEIT City Engineer JOHN V. GILLESPIE Chief cf Police SUBJECT: Exoneration of Bonds for Tract 2851 (Griffin Homes) BACKGROUND INFORMATION Tract No. 2851 is located in the northwest section of the City of Moorpark adjacent to the intersection of Campus Park Drive and Collins Drive. A vicinity map is enclosed for reference. On November 4, 1980 the Ventura County Board of Supervisors approved the final map and entered into an agreement with Griffin Homes for the construction of public improvements. On September 16, 1985, the Moorpark City Council accepted the majority of the public improvements within Tract 2851. However, specific tract improvements relating to landscape, fencing and model conversion were not accepted. As security for these uncompleted improvements, specific bonds were not exonerated. The landscaping and fencing have now been completed to our satisfaction. Accordingly, it is now appropriate to exonerate the Landscape and Fencing bond, No. 106768, in the amount of $100,000, issued by the Developer's Insurance Company. The model conversion and fence removal have also been completed to our satisfaction. Accordingly, it is now appropriate to exonerate the model conversion bond, No. 105980, in the amount of $4,000, issued by the Developer's Insurance Company; and the Fence Removel Bond, No. 9091965, in the amount of $500, issued by the Developer's Insurance Company. 799 Moorpark Avenue Moorpark, California 93021 (805) 529-6864
