Attn; Dr. Clint Harper, Ph.D. Mayor
Dear Dr. Harper,
This letter is being directed to you on behalf of the Contemporary Urban
Issues class which I will be teaching at Moorpark College this upcoming
semester. As you know it has been the practice in past semesters for class
activity to include the preparation of a survey of a random sample of the
voting population of the City of Moorpark concerning their opinions of
many important local issues. I believe it would be a very good learning
experience for the students to take this semesters survey in cooperation
with the city council and staff. The input from the council and staff would
assure that the survey would address issues which are of importance to
our community and thus would be beneficial to the city.council in its
deliberative activities. I would appreciate your putting this topic on the
agenda for the councils meeting of September 23 so it may be discused.
Most Sincerely
rry r ughan
