HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 1993 0120 RDA SPCMINUTES OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY Moorpark, California January 20, 1993 A Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark was held on January 20, 1993 in the City Council Chambers of said City located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California. 1. CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Lawrason called the meeting to order at 11:51 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: Agency Members Hunter, Montgomery, Wozniak, and Chairman Lawrason. Absent: Agency Member Perez. Staff Present: Steven Kueny, Executive Director; Richard Hare, Agency Treasurer; Cheryl Kane, Agency Counsel; Lillian E. Hare, Agency Secretary. 3. CONSENT CALENDAR: A. Consider Approval of Minutes of the Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of January 6 1993. Staff Recommendation: Approve the minutes as processed. MOTION: Agency Member Montgomery moved and Chairman Lawrason seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by roll call vote 4-0, Agency Member Perez absent for the vote. Ms. Kane corrected the Closed Session item listed for the Redevelopment Agency to read "Litigation concerning Ventura County Community College District Case No. 107569 vs. City of Moorpark". MOTION: Agency Member Montgomery moved and Agency Member Wozniak seconded a motion to adjourn to Closed Session for a joint discussion as the Redevelopment Agency/City Council of Litigation Concerning Ventura County Community College District Case No. 107569 vs. City of Moorpark. The motion carried by voice vote 4-0, Agency Member Perez absent for the vote. Chairman Lawrason declared a recess at 11:52 p.m. The Redevelopment Agency was reconvened jointly as the Redevelopment Agency/City Council at 11:52 p.m. into Closed Session. Minutes of the City Council Moorpark, California Page 2 January 20, 1993 The meeting reconvened at 12:10 a.m. Mr. Kueny announced that in Closed Session, the City Council and Agency Board approved Settlement Agreements concerning redevelopment with the County of Ventura and Moorpark Unified School District. 4.
