GILLESPIE Chief of Police SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER -PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN AND DESIGN SERVICES A special meeting of the Senior Citizens Ad Hoc Committee was held Tuesday, March 10, 1988, 11:00 a.m., in the multipurpose room at the Community Center. The meeting was held to discuss a proposed floor plan relative to converting a portion of the Community Center to a Senior Citizens Center. Present were Senior Citizens Ad Hoc Committee members; Mrs. Madeline Kucinskas, Mrs. Annabell Sessler, and Councilwoman Eloise Brown. Also present was Mr. Bud Ferguson, Mr. John Roberts, and Phil Newhouse. Staff presented a proposed modified floor plan prepared by D. I.a. L. Services. Considerable discussion focused on exclusivity of facilities, i.e., restrooms and kitchen. Staff assured the Ad Hoc Committee members, the Seniors would not be sharing their facilities whenever the seniors were occupying the Senior Center. And, in the future, if the need ever arose, the senior facilities would need to be shared, particularly the restrooms, the seniors would have first priority of use. Mr. Ferguson moved to recommend the modified proposed floor plan to the City Council for approval as the floor plan design for the proposed Senior Citizens Center located in the Community Center at 799 Moorpark Avenue. Motion carried unanimously. 799 Moorpark Avenue Moorpark, California 93021 (805) 529-6864 The Honorable City Council Proposed Floor Plan March 10, 1988 Page 2 Staff contacted Derik Fawell, D.I.a.L.
