A large coalition is working on a similar proposal for the San Diego corrdior and they are willing to work with us to ensure a joint effort and result. Our efforts toward better passenger rail service in this corridor appear to be reasonable and could very well be successful if we all work together. We have scheduled a meeting in the Simi Valley City Hall, City Council Chambers, for June 27th at 9:30 a.m. to dicuss this undertaking. Representatives from the San Di ego corridor project wi 11 be present to brief us on their proposal and how we can work with them. We hope that both elected officials and staff from corridor cities will attend this meeting in order to plan strategy. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mike Sedell, Deputy City Manager, City of Simi Valley, at (805) 583-6701. ELTON GALLEGLY, Mayor GREG STRATTON, Mayor Pro Tern ANN H.
