Attached is the proposed Community Center Rules and Regulations governing the use
of the Moorpark Community Center. These rules and regulations have been reviewed
and approved by the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Also included is the revised Fee Schedule for the Moorpark Community Center.
The Parks and Recreation Commission is recommending adjustments in the rental
rates for all four categories. Essentially, the rates have been increased in
categories I and II; however, rates have been reduced in categories III and IV
which serve community and non—profit organizations. The Commission feels that the
new fee schedule will better serve those community and non—profit organizations
(categories III and IV) by offering lower fees, while the additional compensation
earned in the private and profit making organizations will offset the costs
involved in the operation of the Community Center for categories III and IV.
RECOMMENDATION:
1. Approval of Rules and Regulations governing the use of the Moorpark Community
Center.
2. Approval of the proposed Moorpark Community Center Fee Schedule.
