Dennis Delzeit, City Engineer pz).e./,,,,,f,f,, aeise-4- 7 • DATE: September 10 , 1986 • SUBJECT: Relinquishment of Highway 118 At a recent City Council meeting, the City Council asked if it would be possible for CalTrans to relinquish Highway 118 from the intersection of High Street to College View Avenue. In a follow-up conversation with Mr. Jack Hallin, Chief of the Project Development Branch of CalTrans in Los Angeles, he replied that the relinquishment could not take place until the freeways are connected. RECOMMENDED ACTION: No action is required. This is furnished, as information.
