HARE City Treasurer Development` t Code Enforcement On -Going Assignments/Responsibilities and Priorities Listing The Department of Community Development, on June 8, 1990, completed a report listing the Department's Staff responsibilities, assignments and priorities. I have attached a portion of that report to assist Council in reviewing Code Enforcement priorities. The Code Enforcement's priorities are identified by an asterisk next to the number. Also attached, are copies of work programs reviewed by the City Council in 1987. Continue to log complaints and conduct follow up. 2. Trash Dumping Identify location of jumping site. Obtain property owners name and address from parcel maps and assessment roll. Send letters requesting removal of trash. Set a routine inspection of problem areas. 3. Recreation al Vehicles Research Municipal and Vehicle Codes to find possible course of action of removal of said vehicles from residential areas. 4. Radio/Communication - Code Enforcement and Public Works Research types, capabilities and cost. 5. Simi Vallev Landfill Research and write status report. 6. This report covers the period of December 5, 1989 through September 6, 1990. Background During the above period 195 new cases were received. Code Enforcement has reached 83% compliance from the period of December 5, 1990 through September 5, 1990. Staff will provide Council a Code Enforcement activity and Status report again in six (6) months. Recommended Action Receive and file File No.: 90-0905.2
