The bids received are as follows : J. F. Contractor $35 , 000 . 00 BLM Constructors $28 , 200 . 00 Staff has reviewed all bids received and requests that the Parks and Recreation Commission approve and recommend that City Council award the project to BLM Constructors as the lowest responsible bidder. Staff' s review of BLM Constructors has found then to be an experienced and well qualified contractor. While there is a total of 50 , 000 available for this project (20 , 000 City funds & 30 , 000) Griffin Homes) City Council has also requested the Commissioners to reevaluate the scope of the project and consider scaling the project down in order to minimize costs in light of the implementation of Measure F. and it potential impact on future park improvement funds .
