A. Review of the Brown Act" - Discussion of Open Meeting Law including recent
amendments regarding limitation of action on non-agenda items.
B. Establishment of Special Fund - Commissioners are requesting a special
account be set up allowing discretionary expenditures by Commissioners
on projects not budgeted for, or other items which may come up during
the fiscal year.
C. Review and Prioritization of Parks Work Program - Commissioners are re-
questing City Council input on the Parks Work Program as developed by
the Commissioners and staff at their January 20, 1987, meeting.
D. Park and Recreation Commissioners' Duties and Responsibilities -
Commissioners are requesting City Council provide additional input relative
to their specific duties and responsibilities.
E. Review of Parks and Recreation Commission's Role in Reviewing RPD's -
This includes Private Recreation Area Requirements and streetscape.
F. Park Improvement Fund - Commissioners are requesting City Council input
on spending guidelines for PIF's along with a financial overview of
accounts balance.
G. Naming of the 69 Acres Designated for Community Park Site - Commissioners
are requesting that the City Council give a name to this proposed park
site.
H. Consideration of Possible Attendance at the Recreation and Park Con-
ference - Request by the Parks and Recreation Commission and Community
Services Staff to attend the 39th Annual California Pacific Southwest
Recreation and Park Conference.

I. Consider the Availability of Surplus Specialized Commercial Kitchen
Equipment for the Senior Citizen Center. _ _- -
J. Placement of Parks and Recreation Agenda Items on the City Council
Agenda - The Commissioners are requesting City Council consider placing
parks and recreation items on the first part of the agenda so projects
will not have to be continued.
K. Staff Follow-Up on Commission Items to City Council - Commissioners
have expressed concern that certain items are not reaching the City
Council, or that they are not accurate.
L. Staff Time Allocation - Commissioners wish to request City Council
of ll:idlly de.lgnate that tie Community Seivices Department consider
parks and recreation activities as priority in allocating future
work-load.
