A. Consideration of proposed assessments for "Moorpark Lighting
and Maintenance Assessment District No. AD-84-2" for the fiscal
year commencing July 1, 1988 and ending June 30, 1989, and
consideration of proposed Resolution 88- , a resolution
confirming the assessment for fiscal year 1988/89. (This
Public Hearing is continued from June 1 , 1988. )
Any member of the public may address the Council during the Public Comments
portion of the Agenda, unless it is a Public Hearing item. Speakers who wish
to address the Council concerning a Public Hearing item must do so during the
Public Hearing for that item. Speaker Cards must be received by the City Clerk
prior to the Call to Order of the meeting. Speakers will be heard in the order
that their Speaker Cards are received. A limitation of 3 minutes shall be
imposed upon each speaker.

B. Consideration of proposed assessments for "Parks Maintenance
Assessment District No. AD-85-1" for the fiscal year commencing
July 1, 1988 and ending June 30, 1989, and consideration of a
proposed Resolution 88- , a resolution confirming the
assessment for fiscal year 1988/89. (This Public Hearing is
continued from June 1, 1988. )
C. Appeal No. 4 of a Planning Commission decision by U.S. Sprint
Network Route Development (Randall Murphy). U.S. Sprint
Communications proposes to install an underground fiber optic
communication cable directly within the Southern Pacific
Railroad right-of-way through the City. Staff Recommendation:
Direct staff as deemed appropriate. The Public Hearing is
still open.

B. Further consideration of a report regarding the proposed
Hazardous Waste Management Planning (Tanner Plan) within the
County. Staff Recommendation: Direct that a letter be sent to
the County of Ventura outlining the City' s concerns. (Item 8.C.
of June 15, 1988. )
C. Further consideration of the award of bid for the City' s legal
notices/ordinances. Staff Recommendation: Direct staff as
deemed appropriate. (Item B.D. of June 15, 1988. )
D. Consider a report from the City Attorney concerning the
regulation of dogs. Staff Recommendation: Direct staff as
deemed appropriate.
G. Consideration of the proposed 1988/89 Fiscal Year Budget.

H. Resolution No. 88- Consider a proposed resolution
setting the 1988/89 Fiscal Year Gann Appropriations Limit.

extend the franchise agreement with Ventura County Cablevision

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Moorpark City Council , at its regular
meeting of June 15, 1988, adjourned said meeting to WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22, 1988,
at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall of the City of
Moorpark, located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California. It is the
Council ' s intent to meet in Closed Session at 6:00 p.m. in Room A of the
Community Center to discuss: (1) Litigation concerning Boething vs. the City
of Moorpark, (2) City of Moorpark vs. Boething, (3) Potential litigation
pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b)(1), (4I) Potential litigation
pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c), (5) Litigation concerning Urban
West Communities, (6) Litigation concerning B. I.A. , (7) Personnel , (8)
Personnel discussion pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6, and (9)
