Dear Council Member Harper,
The Moorpark Historical Society has been looking for a home for over 15 years. We have been close to securing a
location in the city on two occasions, but each time we were unable to make it happen. We have now been given a
great opportunity to lease a portion of land at Happy Camp Regional Park. This would enable us to begin to build a
museum in a park-like setting. The Board of Directors has many plans to make this project a unique educational
experience for our children and community members.
I would like to discuss the plans with you at your earliest convience. This would be a good time to hear your ideas,
as your input is important to us.
Please feel free to contact me at 529-1373 so we can schedule an appointment. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely
/61I./iti
