Rubin, Senior Planner e DATE : October 1, 1986 (City Council meeting of 10/06/86) SUBJECT : DRAFT NOISE ELEMENT Background A public hearing on the draft Noise Element of the General Plan was held at the Council's September 15, 1986 meeting. Due to incomplete information provided in the Council's packet. No action was taken at that meeting. A complete package is now provided to the Council for its review. Recommended Action 1. Re-open the public hearing. 2. Adopt the Negative Declaration. 3. Approve the Noise Element by resolution with the revised Policy - - Program (as revised by the Planning Commission) . 4. Refer the sample noise ordinance and standard conditions of approval back to the Planning Commission for a recommendation to the City Council (The sample noise ordinance and conditions are not to be adopted as part of the Noise Element) .
