Residents and representatives from Griffin Homes hare contacted the
Police Department and City staff to help resolve the problem of
student parking on streets within tract 176 71,
Since the completion of :street, within tract. :-2, Moorpark.
College students have been parking within the tract. With the
subsequent homeowner occupancies these college associated r iateJ h les
have created a hardship on local homeowners, Sufficient perking
facilities exist on campus to accommodate these vehicles . Perking

RESOLUTION NO. 89-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING VARIOUS "2 HOUR PARKING
8:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M. EXCEPT WEEKENDS
AND HOLIDAYS" ZONES WITHIN TRACT 3963-2
(GRIFFIN) .
WHEREAS, Section 21351 of the California Vehicle Code
authorizes the City to place and maintain, or cause to be
placed and maintained, such appropriate signs, signals, or
other traffic control devices as may be necessary properly
to indicate and carry out the provisions of the Vehicle Code
or local traffic ordinances or to warn or guide traffic;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That "2 Hour Parking 8 : 00 A.M. to 4: 00 P.M.
Except Weekends and Holidays" zones are hereby established
on both sides of the following described road segments as
shown in Exhibit "A" :
1. Trollope Court.
2 . Borges Court.
3 . Freshman Court.
4 . Sophomore Court.
5. Griffith Lane.
6. Graduate Place.
7 . Swift Place.
8 . Milne Circle.
9 . University Drive.
SECTION 2 . That the City Manager is hereby directed to
provide for the installation and maintenance of the
appropriate signs and markings for the locations hereinabove
identified.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS DAY OF , 1989.
