BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Tracts 3841-1 and 2 are located on the southeast corner of
the intersection of Tierra Rejada Road and Los Angeles
Avenue in the City of Moorpark . A vicinity map is enclosed

On March 1, 1983 the Ventura Board of Supervisors approved
the merger and resubdivision of the lots contained within
the recorded Final Maps of tracts 2817-3 and 4 to form the
Final Maps for tracts 3841-1 and 2 and entered into an-
agreement with Griffin Homes for the constguction of public
improvements .
The agreement required completion of all improvements by
June 1 , 1984. The Ventura County Board of Supervisors
subsequently approved a time extension requiring all
improvements be done by March 1, 1985 .
Construction of the majority of the public improvements have
been completed. Improvements that have yet to be completed
are the Glenwood Park site, the street trees along Los
Angeles Avenue, and the median landscaping along Tierra
Rejada Road. The City Manager has agreed to accept the
public improvements that have been fully completed and to
hold the grading bond for security to the uncompleted
improvements .
