MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL Moorpark, California May 9, 2025 An Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark was held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. in the City Hall of said City located at 323 Science Drive, Moorpark, California. 1.CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Enegren called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. 2.PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: 3.ROLL CALL: Present:Councilmembers Barrett, Castro, Delgado, Means, and Mayor Enegren. Staff Present: Carolina Tijerino, Human Resources Manager. 4.PUBLIC COMMENT: None. 5.CLOSED SESSION: Ms. Tijerino requested the Council go into closed session for discussion of Items 5.A. and 5.B on the agenda. CONSENSUS: It was the consensus of the City Council to adjourn to closed session for discussion of Items 5.A. and 5.B. on the agenda. The time was 8:40 a.m. A.PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957(b) Title: City Manager B.CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6 Agency Designated Representatives: Carolina Tijerino, Human Resources Manager; and Greg Nelson, Mosaic Public Partners Unrepresented Employee: Candidates for City Manager position Present in closed session were Councilmembers Barrett, Castro, Delgado, Means, and Mayor Enegren; Carolina Tijerino, Human Resources Manager; and Greg Nelson, Mosaic Public Partners (via Zoom). Ms. Tijerino left the meeting at 9:00 a.m. Item: 10.D. 93 Minutes of the City Council Moorpark, California Page 2 May 9, 2025 The Council convened in closed session to conduct interviews as part of the City Manager recruitment process for the City Manager position. A total of five individuals were interviewed during the session. The Council reconvened into open session at 4:30 p.m.; Mr. Nelson left the meeting at this time. Ms. Tijerino reported that Items 5.A. and 5.B. were discussed and stated there was no action to report for Item 5.A. and 5.B. 6.ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Enegren adjourned the meeting to an Adjourned Regular Meeting to be held Saturday, May 10 at 8:00 a.m. at 323 Science Drive.
