NOTICE AND CALL OF A SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Parks and Recreation
Commission of the City of Moorpark is hereby called to be held on Saturday, November 15,
2025, commencing at 9:30 A.M. Said meeting will convene at City Hall in the Century
conference room located at 323 Science Drive, Moorpark, California, 93021. Said Special
Meeting shall be for the purpose of the following

A. Parks Tour. Staff Recommendation: The Commission and staff will tour and
discuss the following parks in the order listed below. (The times identified are
estimates only, and the Commission will attempt to meet this schedule.)
Miller Park 9:45 a.m.
Tierra Rejada Park 10:00 a.m.
Arroyo Vista Community Park 10:15 a.m.
Community Center Park 10:45 a.m.
Campus Canyon Park 11:00 a.m.
College View Park 11:15 a.m.
Following Item 6.A,, Parks Tour, the Parks and Recreation Commission will
continue their meeting at 323 Science Drive, Moorpark, California, 93021, in the
Century conference room,

All writings and documents provided to the majority of the Commission regarding all open -session agenda items are available for
public inspection at the City Hall public counter located at 323 Science Drive during regular business hours. The agenda packet for
all Commission meetings is available on the City's website at www.MooroarkCA.gov.
Any member of the public may address the Commission during the Public Comments portion of the Agenda, unless it is a
Presentation/Action/Discussion item. Speakers who wish to address the Commission concerning a Presentations/
Action/Discussion item must do so during the Presentations/Action/ Discussion portion of the Agenda for that item. Speaker cards
must be received by the Commission Secretary for Public Comment prior to the beginning of the Public Comments portion of the
meeting and for Presentation/Action/Discussion items prior to the beginning of the first item of the Presentation/Action/Discussion
portion of the Agenda. A limitation of three minutes shall be imposed upon each Public Comment and
Presentation/Action/Discussion item speaker. Written Statement Cards may be submitted in lieu of speaking orally for
Presentation/Action/ Discussion items. Copies of each item of business on the agenda are on file in the office of the Commission
Secretary and are available for public review. Any questions concerning any agenda item may be directed to the Commission
Secretary at 517-6227.
