Hayes, Redevelopment Managerc) KX DATE: March 6, 1995 (Mtq 03/1t)/95) SUBJECT: Adoption of Resolution No. 95- Approving the Summary Report in Accordance With Section 33433 of the Health and Safety Codes for the Sale of Agency Owned Property to Ventura Pacific Properties I, Inc. BACKGROUND: The Moorpark Redevelopment Agency, has been negotiating the sale of 15 ± acres of property located west of K -Mart, south of and including Lassen Avenue, east of Moorpark Estates, and north of Los Angeles Avenue to Ventura Pacific Properties I, Inc. for commercial development. California Community Redevelopment Law (CCRL) requires the Agency approve the Summary Report for the sale of the property. The Summary Report attached, defines the sales agreement and cost to the Agency resulting for the sale. The Disposition and Development Agreement by and between the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency and Ventura Pacific Properties I, Inc. and the Summary Report is attached to the Council Staff Report regarding the Summary Report. j Staff recommends that the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency adopt the attached resolution thus approving the Summary Report for the sale of land by the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency.
