NOTICE AND CALL OF A
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK
TO THE MEMBERS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Moorpark is hereby called to be held on
WEDNESDAY, JULY 5, 1995, commencing at 6: 30 P.M. Said meeting will
be held in the Council Chambers located at 799 Moorpark Avenue,
Moorpark, California.
Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of the following:

A. Consider Funding for Proiect No. One - Housing
Rehabilitation Loan and Grant Program. Staff
Recommendation: Approve this project for funding in an
amount not to exceed $5, 000 grant, $10, 000 deferred loan,
and $500 escrow fees, and that Archway Builders be
awarded the contract and appropriate $15, 500 from housing
set aside funds. (ROLL CALL VOTE)

of Moorpark; that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Moorpark
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark was held on
July 5, 1995 in the Council Chambers of the Community Center
at 6: 30 P.M. and that a copy of said Special Meeting Notice
was posted on June 30, 1995, at a conspicuous place near the
door of the room at which said meeting was held.

SUBJECT: Funding for Project No. One - Housing
Rehabilitation Loan and Grant Project
This project was presented to the Agency at their meeting of June
21, 1995. Since there was an increase in the amount of the Loan
Portion which was due to an oversight by the contractor, the Agency
referred this project back to the Economic Development /Affordable
Housing Committee (Councilmember Patrick Hunter and Councilmember
Bernardo Perez - ED /AHC).
DISCUSSION
The ED /AHC did not have time to formally review the Housing
Rehabilitation Guidelines. The :review of the Guidelines was
continued until their next scheduled meeting. The Committee Member
indicated that they had reviewed the Guidelines related to Project
No. One.
The ED /AHC did review Project No. One and in order to expedite the
Project, recommended that it be returned to the Agency for funding
as previously submitted at the Agency's meeting of June 21, 1995.
The recommended contractor and repair items are shown on Exhibits
"A" and "B" attached.
Funds for this project have been appropriated from set aside
portion of tax increment revenue.
RECOMMENDATION (Roll Call Vote)
Staff and the Economic Development /Affordable Housing Committee
recommend that the Agency approve this project for funding in an
amount not to exceed $5,000 grant, $10,000 deferred Loan, and
$500.00 escrow fees, and that Archway Builders be awarded the
contract and appropriate $15,500 from housing set aside funds.
