Consider Approval of Minutes of Special Meeting of December 5, 2001. Staff Recommendation: Approve minutes as processed. B. Consider Acceptance of Fee Title to 500 Spring Road from the City of Moorpark. Staff Recommendation: Accept fee title to the property at 500 Spring Road (APN 512 -0- 171 -205 and 512- 0- 171 -215) and direct the Agency Secretary to execute a Certificate of Acceptance on behalf of the Agency. C. Consider Acceptance of Fee Title to 203 and 213 E. Los Angeles Avenue, City of Moorpark from Steven A. Valenza. Staff Recommendation: Accept fee title to the property at 203 and 213 E. Los Angeles Avenue, City of Moorpark (APN 512 -0- 121 -045 and 512 -0- 121 -065) and direct Agency Secretary to execute a Certificate of Acceptance on behalf of the Agency. 6. CM Of MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA Redevelopment Agency Meeting A of _ P, - ITEM A ACTION:"�'`7� _ :ROUTES OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY Moorpark, California December 5, 2001 A Special Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark was held on December 5, 2001, in the Community Center of said City located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California. 1. CALL TO ORDER: Chair Hunter called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: Agency Members Harper, Mikos, Millhouse, Wozniak, and Chair Hunter. Staff Present: Steven Kueny, Executive Director; Joseph Montes, Acting General Counsel; Hugh Riley, Assistant Executive Director; and Deborah Traffenstedt, Agency Secretary. 3. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. 4. CLOSED SESSION: Mr. Kueny announced that Item 4.C. would be discussed in Agency closed session. MOTION: Agency Member Mikos moved and Agency Member Wozniak seconded a motion to adjourn to closed session for a discussion of Item 4.C. on the agenda following the regular December 5, 2001 City Council meeting. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. The time was 6:40 p.m. C. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION (Subdivision (a) of Section 54956.9) Mission Bell Plaza Phase II, LLC, a California limited partnership vs. Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark. The Agency reconvened into open session at 10:28 p.m. Mr. Kueny stated that Item 4.C. was discussed in closed session and that there was no action to report. 5. Los Angeles Avenue, City of Moorpark (APN 512 -0- 121 -045 & 512 -0- 121 -065) from Steven A. Valenza. BACKGROUND On October 19, 2001 the Redevelopment Agency approved a Purchase and Sale Agreement with Joint Escrow Instructions to acquire the property at 203 and 213 E. Los Angeles Avenue, City of Moorpark (APN 512 -0 -121 -045 & 512 -0 -121 -065) from Steven A. Valenza. On November 21, 2001, Escrow closed for this acquisition. The Agency Board is requested to accept title to the property. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Accept Fee Title to the Property at 203 and 213 E. Riley, Assistant Executive Directo DATE: December 21, 2001 (MRA Meeting of 1/16/02) SUBJECT: The Agency Board is Requested to Accept Fee Title to 500 Spring Road from the City of Moorpark. BACKGROUND On April 3, 2001 the City's Redevelopment Agency purchased a 7.5 Acre parcel at 500 Spring Road (APN 512 -0 -171 -205 and 512- 0 -171- 215). A portion of the parcel is to be the site for the new Police Services Center. Titleholder for the property was listed as the City of Moorpark in error. Title should be with the Redevelopment Agency. On December 5, 2001, the City Council approved the conveyance of the property to the Redevelopment Agency. The Agency Board is requested to accept title to the property.
