PUBLIC HEARING: NONE. 5. PRESENTATION /ACTION /DISCUSSION: A. Consider Adopting Resolution of Necessity to Acquire Fee Title by Eminent Domain that Real Property Owned by Steven A. Valenza at 203 and 213 East Los Angeles Avenue. Staff Recommendation: 1) Conduct a hearing on Resolution No. 2001 -95, a Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Moorpark, finding and determining that the public interest, convenience and necessity require the acquisition of certain property for public purposes; and 2) review the evidence presented, including the staff report and public comments and close the hearing; and 3) adopt Resolution No. 2001 -96 authorizing the commencement of eminent domain proceedings so as to acquire the fee simple interest in real property described therein. (ROLL CALL VOTE REQUIRED - requires an affirmative FOUR - FIFTHS {4/5} vote of the Agency Board of Directors) APPROVED STAFF RECOMMENDATION INCLUDING ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 2001 -95 (Vote 5 -0) AND ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 2001 -96 (Vote 5 -0). 5. Staff Recommendation: Refer this matter to the Affordable Housing /Community Development Committee for further review of possible cooperation in this type of project and recommendation.
