March 25, 1985
An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Moorpark, California, was held on March 25, 1985, in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of said City, located at 799 Moorpark
Avenue, Moorpark, California.
1 . CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7: 15 p.m. , Mayor Albert Prieto
presiding.
1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilmember Thomas C. Ferguson.
3 . ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmembers Thomas C. Ferguson, James D. Weak,
Danny Woolard, Leta Yancy-Sutton and Mayor Albert Prieto;
ABSENT: None.
OTHER CITY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES PRESENT:
Steven Kueny, City Manager and Doris D. Bankus, City Clerk.
4. REVIEW OF PERSONNEL RULES
The City Manager presented a resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MOORPARKJ CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING PERSONNEL
SYSTEM RULES AND REGULATIONS
and proceeded to review the contents thereof in detail, noting such
changes as he proposed and as directed by Council. At the conclusion
of the review it was agreed that the changes would be made to the
resolution as proposed and directed, that the City Attorney would be
requested to prepare those sections as deemed necessary by the City
Manager, and that the resolution in its final form would be presented
to the Council when ready for adoption.
5. OTHER
There was a brief discussion regarding the reinstatement of
CALTRAIN, but since this was not an agenda item, no direction
was given to staff by Council.
6. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was
moved by Councilmember Weak, seconded by Councilmember Woolard that
the meeting be adjourned, the time being 10 : 35 p.m.
