HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 1986 0106 MOBILE HOME RENT BOARD SPCMoorpark, California January 6, 1986 A special meeting of the Mobile Home Park Rent Review Board of the City of Moorpark was held on January 6, 1986, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of said City, located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California. 1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6:50 p.m. , Mayor James D. Weak presiding. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilmember Albert Prieto. 3. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Councilmembers Albert Prieto and Leta Yancy- Sutton, and Mayor James D. Weak; ABSENT: Councilmembers Thomas C. Ferguson and Danny A. Woolard; Councilmember Ferguson arrived at 6:51 p.m., immediately following the roll call. OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Steven Kueny, City Manager; Scott Field, Assistant City Attorney; Thomas Genovese, Administrative Assistant; and Doris D. Bankus, City Clerk. The City Clerk reported that notice of this special meeting had been given in time, form and manner as required by law, and presented affidavits to that effect, which were ordered received and filed. 4. RENT INCREASES A. Villa Del Arroyo Mobile Home Park and B. Angeles Trailer Lodge The City Manager presented his report dated January 2, 1986 and explained the applications for rent increase which had been filed on behalf of both of the above mobile home parks, both having filed under the provisions of Section 5.04.050 of the Moorpark Municipal Code. There were no persons present who desired to address Council concerning said applications. It was moved by Councilmember Yancy- Sutton, seconded by Councilmember Prieto and unanimously carried that the rent increase application filed on behalf of Villa Del Arroyo Mobile Home Park, and the rent increases requested therein, be approved, effective as of November.l, 1985. -1- Mobile Home Rent Review Board January 6, 1986 It was then moved by Councilmember Yancy- Sutton, seconded by Councilmember Prieto and unanimously carried that the rent increase application filed on behalf of Angeles Trailer Lodge, and the rent increases requested therein, be approved, effective as of November 1, 1985. There being no further business to come before the Board, it was moved by Councilmember Yancy- Sutton, seconded by Councilmember Ferguson and unanimously carried that the meeting stand adjourned, the time being 6:55 p.m. APPROVED: Mayor -2- Respectfully submitted, City Clerk
