Moorpark. California November 24, 1986
The adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark,
California, was held on November 24, 1986, in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall of said City, located at 799 Moorpark Avenue,
Moorpark, California.
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:04 p.m. by Mayor Ferguson.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilmember Brown.

4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

6. COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC
6.A. Al Dick, 3.4714 Reedley, Moorpark, U.S. Condominium Corporation,
requested that the Council. allow City staff to approve the
proposed grading plan modifications for Tracts 3070 -4 and
4:70.
Pat Richards, Director of Community Development, stated that
the proposed action would deviate from established Council
policy and recommended that the established procedures and
prior. Council action on this matter be followed.
After discussion, it was the consensus of the City Council
to continue with the direction of the Council from the
November 17, 1986 meeting that the proposed grading plan
modifications be referred to the Planning Commission after
notification of the public.

10. STAFF REPORTS - ACTION ITEMS
10.A. Consideration of Appointment to the Planning Commission
Councilmember John Galloway nominated Scott Montgomery for
appointment to the Planning Commission.
Motion by Councilmember Brown to confirm appointment of
Scott Montgomery to the Moorpark Planning Commission,
seconded by Councilmember Woolard, carried unanimously.
11. STAFF REPORTS - INFORMATION ITEMS
11.A. Tree Removal on Williams Ranch Road per Conditions of Approval
for Tracts 3019 and 3525 ( Warmington Homes);
The City Engineer indicated that work on the subject project
had been suspended. He briefed the City Council on the
alternatives previously considered by the City and the
location of the subject trees relative to the right -of -way,
sidewalk and utility lines.
After discussion, it was directed that the City Engineer
again discuss this matter with Warmington Homes; the
suspension of work be continued until after the December 1, 1986
meeting and the matter be placed on the December 1, 1986
City Council agenda.

There being no further business to come before the Council,
motion by Councilmember Harper, seconded by Councilmember
Woolard, carried unanimously to adjourn to the next regular
City Council meeting scheduled for December 1, 1986 at
7:00 p.m.
