CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lane called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmembers Eloise Brown, John Galloway, Clint Harper, Bernardo Perez and Mayor John Lane Steven Kueny, City Manager; Cheryl Kane, City Attorney 3. CLOSED SESSION: MOTION: Councilmember Brown moved and Councilmember Perez seconded a motion to adjourn into Closed Session for a discussion of the following: A. Personnel. B. Personnel discussion pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6. C. Litigation concerning Boething vs. the City of Moorpark. D. Litigation concerning the City of Moorpark vs Boething. E. Potential litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b)(1). F. Potential litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c). G. Negotiation for real property at 280 Casey Road (former high school site) pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8. H. Litigation concerning B.I.A. vs. the City of Moorpark. MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL Moorpark, California Page 2 October 19, 1988 I. Litigation concerning Southern California Edison vs. the City of Moorpark. J. Negotiation for real property on a portion of A.P.N. 500 -35 -22 (Carlsberg) pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. Present in Closed Session were all Councilmembers; Steven Kueny, City Manager; and Cheryl Kane, City Attorney. The meeting reconvened into Open Session at 7:02 p.m. Mr. Kueny stated that there was no action to report out of Closed Session and that Items 3.C., 3.D., 3.E., 3.H and 3.I. were discussed. 4. ADJOURNMENT: MOTION: Councilmember Harper moved and Councilmember Brown seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote.
