HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 1990 0905 CC SPCMINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL Moorpark, California September 5, 1990 A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark was held on September 5, 1990, in the Council Chambers of said City located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California. 1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Perez called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmembers Brown, Harper, Lawrason, Montgomery and Mayor Perez Steven Kueny, City Manager; Richard Hare, Deputy City Manager; Mary Gayle, Acting City Attorney. 3. CLOSED SESSION: MOTION: Councilmember Brown moved and Councilmember Lawrason seconded a motion to go into Closed Session for a discussion of 1) Personnel 2) Potential litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 (b)(1), 3) Potential litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 (c) , 4) Litigation concerning City of Moorpark vs. Moorpark Unified School District, 5) Litigation concerning Moorpark Unified School District vs. City of Moorpark, 6) Litigation concerning Ventura County Community College District vs. City of Moorpark, 7) Litigation concerning the County of Ventura vs. City of Moorpark, 8) Negotiations for Real Property on the North Side of Tierra Rejada Road East of Spring Road (Pacifica Corp.) pursuant to Government code Section 54945.8, 9) Litigation concerning the Moorpark Mosquito Abatement District vs. City of Moorpark, 10) Litigation concerning Colonial Mortgage vs. the City of Moorpark; 11) Negotiations for Real Property at 289 Casey Road (Moorpark Unified School District) pursuant to Government Code Section 54945.8; 12) Negotiations for Real Property on Los Angeles Avenue (East) pursuant to Government Code Section 54945.8. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. Present in Closed Session were all Councilmembers; Steven Kueny, City Manager; Richard Hare, Deputy City Manager; and Mary Gayle, Acting City Attorney. The meeting reconvened into Open Session at 7:17 p.m. Minutes of the City Council Moorpark, California Page 2 September 5, 1990 Mr. Kueny reported there was no action to report out of Closed Session and that only Potential litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 (b)(1), and Negotiations for Real Property at 289 Casey Road (Moorpark Unified School district) pursuant to government Code Section 54945.8 had been discussed. 15. ADJOURNMENT: MOTION: Councilmember Brown moved and Councilmember Lawrason seconded a motion to adjourn. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. The time was 7:18 p.m. VI 1� Bernardo M.
