Moorpark, California January 6, 1993
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark was
held on January 3, 1992 in the Council Chambers of said City
located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Lawrason called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmembers Hunter, Montgomery, Perez,
Wozniak, and Mayor Lawrason.
Steven Kueny, City Manager; Richard Hare,
Deputy City Manager; Cheryl Kane, City
Attorney; Jaime Aguilera, Director of
Community Development; Lillian Hare, City
Clerk.
3. ACTION /DISCUSSION:
A. Consider City Loan of Funds to the Moorpark
Redevelopment Aaencv for Fiscal Year 1991/92.
Staff Recommendation: Approval of a loan in the
amount of $1,851,000 from the City's General Fund
Reserve to the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency.
Ms. Hare read the title and recommendation for item
3.A.
MOTION: Councilmember Montgomery moved and Councilmember
Wozniak seconded a motion to approve a loan of $1,851,000
from the City's General Fund Reserve to the Moorpark
Redevelopment Agency. The motion carried by unanimous
roll call vote.
4. CLOSED SESSION:
MOTION: Councilmember Perez moved and Councilmember
Wozniak seconded a motion to go into Closed Session for
a discussion of all items listed on the agenda.
A. Personnel.
B. Potential litigation pursuant to Government Code
Section 54956.9(b)(1).
C. Potential litigation pursuant to Government Code
Section 54956.9(c).

D. Litigation concerning Ventura County Community
College District Case No. 107569 vs. City of
Moorpark.
E. Negotiations for Real Property at 280 Casey Road
(Moorpark Unified School District) pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.8.
F. Litigation concerning Conejo Freeway Properties,
LTD. vs. City of Moorpark.
G. Litigation concerning City of Moorpark vs. Southern
California Edison, et al.
H. Litigation concerning Moorpark vs. Fedelety
Corporation.
I. Litigation concerning City of Moorpark vs. Foster
Enterprises.
J. Litigation concerning City of Moorpark vs. CalTrans
(Case No. 123655).
The motion carried unanimous voice vote.
Present in Closed Session were all Councilmembers; Steven
Kueny, City Manager; Richard Hare, Deputy City Manager;
Jaime Aguilera; and Cheryl Kane, City Attorney. The time
was 6:35 p.m.
The meeting reconvened into Open Session at 7:20 p.m.
Mr. Kueny stated that only item 4.B. had been discussed
and there was no action to report out of Closed Session.
5. ADJOURNMENT:
The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 7:20 p.m.
