HomeMy WebLinkAboutMIN 1995 0628 CC SPCMINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL Moorpark, California June 28, 1995 A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark was held on June 28, 1995 in the Council Chambers of said City, located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California. 1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lawrason called the meeting to order at 7:48 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmembers Hunter, Montgomery, Perez and Mayor Lawrason Absent: Councilmember Wozniak Staff Present: Steven Kueny, City Manager; Richard Hare, Deputy City Manager; Don Reynolds, Administrative Services Manager; Lillian Hare, City Clerk; Dorothy Vandaveer, Deputy City Clerk 3. ACTION /DISCUSSION: A. Consider Resolution No. 95 -1137 of the _City Council and the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency Approving and Authorizing the City Manager and Mayor to Execute a Reimbursement Agreement by and between the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency and the City of Moorpark for City Loan for Agency Operations Costs for Fiscal Year 1995/96. Staff Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 95 -1137 authorizing the City Manager and Mayor to execute the Reimbursement Agreement by and between the City of Moorpark and the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency. Mr. Hare gave the staff report. MOTION: Councilmember Montgomery moved and Mayor Lawrason seconded a motion to approve the staff recommendation to adopt Resolution No. 95 -1137 and to authorize the City Manager to execute the reimbursement agreement by and between the City of Moorpark and the Moorpark Redevelopment Agency. The motion carried by roll call vote 4 -0, Councilmember Wozniak absent for the vote. B. Confirm Administrative Leave for Department Heads and City Manager. Staff Recommendation: Approve. Minutes of the City Council Moorpark, California page 2 June 28, 1995 MOTION: Councilmember Montgomery moved and Mayor Lawrason seconded a motion to approve the granting of 40 hours performance based administrative leave to the City Manager for both Fiscal Years 93/94 and 94/95, and at the City Manager's discretion to the Deputy City Manager and Department Heads; to authorize the City Manager to approve transfers between personnel and operations and maintenance line items in the impacted departments to fund any requested cash payments. The motion carried by roll call vote 4 -0, Councilmember Wozniak absent for the vote. 4. ADJOURNMENT: MOTION: Councilmember Hunter moved and Councilmember Perez seconded a motion to adjourn.
