Moorpark, California September 20, 1995
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark was
held on September 20, 1995, in the Conference Room of said City
located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Lawrason called the meeting to order at 6:57 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmembers Hunter, Montgomery, Perez,
Wozniak and Mayor Lawrason
Staff Present: Steven Kueny, City Manager; Richard Hare,
Deputy City Manager; Cheryl Kane, City
Attorney; Lillian Hare, City Clerk.
3. ACTION /DISCUSSION:
A. Consider Combinina Tour of Specific Plan No. 8 (Messenger
Property Hidden Creek Ranch, SP 93 -1, GPA 93 -1, Zone
Change 93 -3 (Pre - Zone)) and Bollinger Property Moorpark
Country Club Estates (Vesting Tentative Tract 4928, RPD
94 -1, CUP 94 -1, GPA 94 -1, Zone Change 94 -1, and Parcel
Map 94 -1) with the Town Hall Meeting of October 28, 1995.
Staff Recommendation: Direct staff as deemed
appropriate.
CONCENSUS: By concensus the Council determined to combine
the Town Hall meeting with a tour of Specific Plan No. 8 and
the Bollinger Property, Moorpark Country Club Estates; the
meeting to be joint with the Planning Commission; the title of
the primary agenda item for the Town Hall meeting to be
consideration of 1995/96 Goals and Objectives.
4. CLOSED SESSION:
MOTION: Councilmember Montgomery moved and Councilmember
Hunter seconded a motion to adjourn to Closed Session for a
discussion of item 4.A. as listed on the Closed Session
portion of the agenda. The claim to be considered for
rejection: Jeannie Schaefer.
A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION
Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to
subdivision (b) to Section 54956.9 of the Government Code
(number of cases to be discussed - two)
The motion carried by unanimous voice vote.

Present in Closed Session were all Councilmembers; Steven
Kueny, City Manager; Richard Hare, Deputy City Manger; Cheryl
Kane, City Attorney; Lillian Hare, City Clerk.
The Council reconvened into open session at 7:00 p.m.
MOTION: Councilmember Hunter moved and Councilmember Wozniak
seconded a motion to reject the claim of Jeannie Schaefer and
to so notify the claimant. The motion carried by unanimous
voice vote.
5. ADJOURNMENT:
Mayor Lawrason adjourned the meeting at 7:01 p.m.
