CALL TO ORDER The Meeting was called to order at the hour of 5:55 p.m. by Mayor Eloise Brown. 2. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmembers Clint Harper, Paul Lawrason, Bernardo Perez, Scott Montgomery and Mayor Eloise Brown. Steven Kueny, City Manager; Cheryl. Kane, City Attorney. 3. Consider potential restriction of eminent domain in promised Redevelopment Plan City Manager Kueny requested clari.ficat. ion on the Council's direction to mail letters to all property owners within the proposed Redevelopment Plan Area. City Manager. Kueny indicated he would be deleting reference to the May 30, 1989 public work shop in the letter since the City did not receive the Spanish translation until May 30, 1989. He indicated the. letters would be mailed on either June 1 or June 2, 1989. By consensus, the Council concurred with this action. 4. Closed Session MOTION: Councilmember Perez moved and Councilmember Montgomery seconded a motion to adjourn into Closed Session at the hour of 6:03 p.m. for discussion of the following items: Potential. litigation . pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c); Personnel; and Negotiation for real property at 280 Casey Road (former high school site - Moorpark Unified School District) pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8. The voice vote was unanimous. Present in the closed session were all. Councilmembers; Steven Kueny, City Manager; and Cheryl. Kane City Attorney. City Attorney Cheryl Kane left the Closed Session. at t:ihe hour. of 7:02 p.m. The Meeting reconvened into open session at the hour of 7:11 p.m. City Manager Kueny advised that there was no action to report as a result of the Closed Session. ADJOURNMENT MOTION: Councilmember Montgomery moved and Councilmember Lawrason seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting at the hour of 7:13 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., May 31., 1989 for the purpose of discussing closed session matters.
